Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners April 14,
1934. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was
called and Commissioners Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Morey absent.
I " A Resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:

A Resolution approving and accepting the proposed written Grant
Agreement submitted by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public
Works, pursuant to the allowance of the application bearing Federal
Emergency Administration of Public Works Docket Number 4928 and
j authorizing and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and {
deliver said Agreement.`t
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners. I

}t An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
An authorizing the appropriation and transfer of certain
money from the Viaterworka Department Fund to the Public Works Admin-
istration, Docket Number 2928, Force Account Fund."

! On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Pafford, Peters
and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Morey absent. The Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is numbered 4389.

�f An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
f An ordinance providing for and levying; a license tax upon all
persons, copartnership or corporation engaging in the calling, trade
or occupation of operating or conducting auctions of merchandise,
regulating the conduct of such calling, trade or occupation and pro-
viding a penalty for the violation of this ordinance and repealing
certain ordinances or parts of ordinances of the City of Salina.

On motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was referred to the !
Board of Commissioners.

ers adjourned.
