FEBRUARY 12, 1934.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, February
12, 1934. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the
roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford,• Peters
and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 5th, 1934,
were read and approved as read.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A Res olution approving a certain Gant Agreement between the City
of Salina, Kansas and the United States of America known as Public
Works Administration Docket No. 3980 relating to the construction
of certain proposed improvements to the storm sewer system of the
City of Salina and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
and attest the execution of said agreement."
On motion of Commissioner Pafford same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
Application for Pool Hall license for the first six months
of 1934 received from W. H. Maellwain. On motion of Commissioner
Pafford same was granted by the Board of Commissioners.
Application for license to sell malt and cereal beverages
in the City of Salina for the first six months of 1934 received as
follows:
Class "A" Retail Beverage Dealers License
Cozy Inn, 108 North Seventh Street
Rainbow Lunch, 105 South Fifth Street,
Jackfs Cafe, 215 North Santa Fe ALenue
Highway Lunch, 211 East Pacific
Class "B" Retail Beverage Dealers License
Station Smoker, 717 W. Bishop Street
Barbecue Lunch, 243 North Santa Fe A enue
Eagle Grill, 840 N. Santa Fe Avenue
Big Mack's Cafe, Clayton Hotel
Wholesale Beverage Dealers License
Chrisman-Nehi Bottling Company, 113 South Fifth St.,
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth same were approved by the
Board of Commissioners.
