Regular meeting A8 of the Hord of Commissioners January 17,
1934 Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was
I called and Cossioners.Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and
City Attorney N rris responded. Commissioner Morey absent.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract forthe construction
of Storm Sewer No. 9-A in the City of Salina, Kansas."

On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
end the following vote was had.; Ayes: Stevenson, Pafford, Peters
and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner MMvrey absent. Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 4354.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the construction
of Storm Sewer No. 9-B in the City of Salina, Kansas."

On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had: Ayes: Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and
Spaeth (4) Nays; (0) Commissioner Morey absent. Mayor approved
the same and it is numbered 4355.
A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution approv-
ing a certain Grant Agreement between the City of Salina, Kansas, and
the United States of America known as Public Works Administration
i ! Docket No. 2464, relating to the construction of certain proposed
Improvements to the storm sewer system of the City of Salina and
authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and attest the
execu-tion of said agreement."
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the veaolution was --adopted
ad -read and�on'.:its,final adoption the roll was called and the following
vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (4) Nays:
(0) Commissioner Morey absent. Mayor approved the same and it is
numbered 597.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Pages numbered
261 and 262 of Resolution Book Number 2.
On motion of Commissioner Peters the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
