SEPTEMBER 9, 1935.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners September 9,
1935. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pafford, the roll was
called and Commissioners Pafford, Peters, Jackson, Mitchell and
Surface and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 3, 1935,
were read and approved as read.
A communication was received from the County Treasurer
stating that Mrs. J. W. Randall wishes to compromise the taxes
against the following described property in the City of Salina:
The west 49 feet East 1/2 Lot 2 and west 49 feet Ejk' Lot 4, Block
9, South Park Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas. On motion of
Commissioner Surface same was granted by the Board of Commissioners.
Application for taxicab drivers license was received from
R. L. Snelgrove. On motion of Commissioner Surface same was grant-
ed by the Board of Commissioners.
A petition was presented asking for the re -zoning of
property lying on both sides of Ninth Street between Iron Avenue
on the north and Lot 9 Block "A" on Walnut Street on the south,
thence east on Walnut Street to Seventh Street, thence north to
Iron Avenue. Same was referred to the City Manager.
On motion of Commissioner Surface the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
