Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pafford, the roll was called and Commissioners Pafford, Peters, Jackson and Mitchell and City 'Attorney I Norris responded. Commissioner Surface absent. i The minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 15th, 1935 were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim." i On motion of Commissioner Peters the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called I and the following vote was had; Ayes: Pafford, Peters, Jackson I and Mitchell (4) Nays: (0) ConLmissioner Surface absent. The Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered 4533. A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution relat- ing to the placing of gasoline pumps along US Highway 81 known as Project 81-15-P16S 37." I On motion of Commissioner Peters the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the fol7.ow- Ing vote was had; Ayes: Pafford, Deters,'Jackson and Mitchell (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Surface absent. Mayor approved the resolu- tion and it is numbered 621. The above resolution is recorded in full on pages 304 and 305 and 306 of Resolution Book Number 2. Application for license to sell malt and cereal beverages In the City of Salina received from: RETIi IL CLA63 "B" BEVERAGE DEALERS LICENSE J. S. Roether, 119 North Fifth Street Commissioner Jackson moved that application be approved by the Board of Commissioners; also that application presented by C. D. Lammon, April 15th, 1935, be approved by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted. Application for taxicab drivers license received from George DelIars. Commissioner Peters moved that same be not granted. On motion of Commissioner Jackson the City approved the offer of the Federal Housing Administration to make a property survey of the City of Salina and agree to underwrite the venture in a sum not to exceed the amount of $300.00. Motion adopted, Commissioner Mitchell moved that the City Clerk be directed to publish notice in the Salina Journal, the official City paper, that the City will place on sale for cash at not less than par and accrued interest from the date of bonds to date of delivery, at the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall at Salina, Kansas, on Monday, April 29th, 1935 at 5:00 P. M. Internal Improvement Bonds of the City of Salina, Kansas, in the ag,regate amount of "`18,340.53. Motion i adopted.
