MARCH 110 1935.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners March 11,
1935. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pafford, the roll was
called and Commissioners Pafford, Spaeth, Morey, Peters and Surface
and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 4. 1935, were
read and approved as read.
Application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1935
received from Roy E. Fowler. On motion of Commissioner Surface
same was approved by the Board of Commissioners,
Sign Application No. 136 asking permission to remove four
billboards from Block 1, Golden Belt Subdivsion Addition to Lot 21,
Block S. Woodland Addition, was received from Rogers Brothers
Poster Service. On motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was approved
by the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
An ordinance vacating a portion of Hamilton Street east of
Third Street in the City of Salina."
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
