Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 14,
1935. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pafford, the roll was
called and Commissioners Pafford, Peters and Surface and City Attorney
Norris responded. Commissioners Spaeth and Morey absent.
City Engineer submitted plans and specifications and estimate
of cost for the construction of Storm Sewer Number 17-B.
Commissioner Peters moved that same be approved by the Board
of Commissioners and the City Clerk was instructed to advertise for
bids for the construction of such sewer, bids to be received up to
and including Monday, February 18, 1935 at 5:00 Y. ti.
A petition was presented asking for an amendment to the
City Planning Ordinance which will permit the remodeling of present
houses in the "A" District for more than two-family and not more than
four -family occupancy, providing it does not interfere with present
st-back regulations nor increase the ground floor space in excess -
of 100 square feet. Same was referred to the City elanning Commission.
Commissioner Surface moved that the Building Inspector be
authorized to issue a permit to Vim. Muir for the remodelinc; of his
residence at 633 South Santa Fe Avenue. Motion adopted.
Commissioner Surface moved that the Building Inspector be
authorized to issue a building permit to Jo -Mar Dairies Company for
the erection of a garage and storage building. Motion adopted.
A Resolution was introduced relating to the passage of Senate
Bill Number 269.
On motion of Commissioner Surface the resolution was adopted
as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following
vote was had; Ayes: Pafford, Peters and Surface (3) !gays: (0)
Commissioners Spaeth and Morey absent. Mayor approved the resolution
and it is numbered 614.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 287 of Resolu-
tion Book Number 2.
On motion of Commissioner Surface the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
