03-04-1936 Minutes1 1 1 1 1 COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING I COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALIVA, KANSAS. MARCH 40 1936. Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners March 4, 1936. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peters, the roll w as called and Commissioners Peters, Mitchell and Surface and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioners Jackson and Morgenstern absent. John Vanier of the Weber Milling Company appeared before the Board of Commissioners and asked for further time in the matter of removing frame building erected by the Salina Terminal Elevator Company in accordance with a special permit granted by the Board of Commissioners July 20, 1931. Commissioner Surface moved that an extension of three years be granted. Motion carried. Commissioner Surface moved that the City Manager be instructed to take up the proposition with the Union Pacific Railroad Company to have the Streamliner named "City of Salina.' On motion of Commissioner Surface the Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk 4
