02-06-1936 Minutes1 1 1 1 COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING. COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS. FEBRUARY 6, 1936. Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 6, 1936. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peters, the roll was called and Commissioners Peters, Jackson, Mitchell, Morgenstern and Surface and City Attorney Norris responded. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the repaving of Santa Fe Avenue from the north line of Elm Street to the north right-of-way line of the Union Pacific Railroad, and recurbing and guttering of Santa Fe Avenue from a point 130 feet south of the south line of Pine Street to the south line of Lincoln Avenue (except the railroad crossings) all as provided for and authorized by Ordinance No. 4554 and 4557 of the City of Salina; for the construction of railroad ' crossings on Santa Fe Avenue between the north line of Elm Street and the north right-of-way line of the Union Pacific Railroad, all as j provided for and authorized by Ordinance No. 4554 of the City of Salina; for the paving of Tenth Street from the north line of Park Street to ! the south line of Elm Street as provided for and authorized by Ordinance No. 4555.0 On motion, same was referred to the Board of Commission- ers, ommission- ers. On motion of Commissioner Surface the Board of Commissioners adjourned to meet in regular session February 7, 1936 at 1:30 P. M. City Clerk
