COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
j COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
i JANUARY 21, 1936.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 21,
1936. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peterm, the roll was
called and Commissioners Peters, Mitchell, Morgenstern and Surface
and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Jackson absent.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance vacating a part of a certain alley in the City of

On motion of Commissioner Morgenstern the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
j and the following vote was had; Ayes: Peters, Mitchell, Morgenstern
and Surface (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Jackson absent. Mayor
I approved the ordinance and it is numbered 4610. j
? ! A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A
' Resolution revising and approving an estimate of the Project costs of
{ Paving Improvements -- Job No. 84."

i On motion of Commissioner Surface the resolution was adopted
j as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following
vote wal had; Ayes: Peters, Mitchell, Morgenstern and Surface (4)
Nays: 0) Commissioner Jackson absent. Mayor approved the Reso-
lution and it is numbered 650.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Pages 361 and 362
Resolution Book Number 2.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A
Resolution relating to Highway Improvements along U. S. Highway 81,
and authorizing a contract with the State highway Commission.'
On motion of Commissioner Morgenstern the resolution was
adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the
following vote was had; Ayes: Peters, Mitbhell, Morgenstern and
Surface (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Jackson absent. Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is numbered 651.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Pages 363 and
364, of Resolution Book Number 2.
