A resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution relating
to appropriating an easement in certain private property for the purpose of extend-
ing Storm Sewer and Drainage Sewer DA."
On motion of Commissioner Price the resolution was adopted as read and on
its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Bar-
cafer, Cobb, King, Price and Ramsey (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution
and it is Numbered 1341..
The above resolution is recorded in full on Pages 18 and 19 Resolution
Book Number 5.
Airport Hangar and Ground Lease Rental $5.00 per year with lease.
A petition was presented from Larry Gutsch to rezone Lots 15, 17, 19, Block 3,
Woodland Addition. Referred to City Planning Commission.
Letter was presented from the City Planning Commission recommending that
area beginning at the North line of Wilson Street and continuing North to Crawford
Avenue, belonging to the Missouri Pacific Railway Company be rezoned to "Light
Industrial."
• Commissioner Ung moved to accept above recommendation and City Clerk give
thirty days in the official City paper as required by law. Carried.
City limit ordinance introduced for first reading. Referred to the Board
of 6ommissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance relat-
ing to and apportioning and levying special assessments on certain lots and pieces
of ground in the City of `Ialina, Kansas, to pay the cost of construction of Lateral
Sanitary Sewers in Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts Numbered 268, 269, 270, 271, 272,
273, 274, 275, 276 and 277, and relating to and providing for the collection and
payment of such assessments." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commis-
sioners.
City CLerk was instructed to advetise for bids to be received up to and
including Monday, September 15th, 1952 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. for the construction
of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 285 and for Pumping Station.. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Cobb the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
