Regular lieeting of the Board of Commissioners April 14, 1952. ivieeting was
called to order by Liayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey,
Barcafer, Cobb, 'ming and Price and City Attorney Clark responded.
The minutes of the Regi.lar i- eeting of April 7, 1952 were read and approved
as read.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution
relating to the curbing, guttering and grading of --arson Street from the center
line of Charlotte Avenue to the center line of Leslie Avenue."
On motion of Commissioner Cobb the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey,
Barcafer, Cobb, riing and Price (5) Nays: (0) i:iayor approved the resolution and
it is Numbered 1292.

A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A resolution
relating to the curving, gutl-ering and grading of Leslie Avenue (on the North side)
from the center line of -Unth Street Place to the center line of FoLrth Street."
On motion of Commissioner Cobb ti:e resolution wasadopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:: Ramsey,
Barcafer, Cobb, King and Price (5) ,days: (U) i4:ayor approved the resolution and
it is Numbered 1293.

creating and defining certain lateral sanitary sewer districts in the City of Salina,
designated as Lateral Sanitary :.fewer .Districts Ju.. ber 276 and .277 . and providing
for the construction of laueral sanitary sewers in said Lateral Sanitary Sewer Dis-
tricts :Ju:.,.Jer "_275 and 277, so created, and providing for the payment of the cost
thereof and for the levying of special assessments against the property in said dis-
tricts �or the payment of the cost of such construction and for the issi:ing of bonds
to pay the cost thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Cobb the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll w as called and the following vote was had; Ayes:

An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "Anordinance creatin
and defining certain lateral sanitary sewer districts in the City of Salina, Kansas,
designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts Numuer 278, 279, 280, 281, 232 and 283,
• and providing for -the construction of lac-eral sanitary sewers in said Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Districts idumoer 278, 279, 280, 281, 282 and 283 so created, and providing for
the pa ent of the cost thereof and for the levy�n of special asseSsmen- s a n t the

An ordinance was introcauced for first reaing entitled: "An ordinance providing
for and regulating the use of certan lands as a trailer camp as authorized by Section
13, Ordinance �o• 5549." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners.

An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
regulating and limiting t7ie time of parking of vehicles on a part of certain
streets in the City of Salina., and providing a penalty for the violation thereof."
Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners.
City Engineer filed plans and specifications for the construction of Lateral
Sanitary Sewers Number 273, 274 and 275. On motion of Commissioner Price
same wereapproved by the Hoard of Commissioners. Carried.
Commissioner Price moved that City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids
for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Number 272, 273, 274 and 275, to be
received up to and including i;onday, �kpril 28, 1952 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Carried.
An ordinarrre was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance levying
special assessments against certain property to pay the cost of constructing water
service pipes and sewer connections in certain streets in the City of aalina, LLI-Isas."
Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners.
