The minutes of the Regi.lar i- eeting of April 7, 1952 were read and approved as read. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and grading of --arson Street from the center line of Charlotte Avenue to the center line of Leslie Avenue." On motion of Commissioner Cobb the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, Cobb, riing and Price (5) Nays: (0) i:iayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 1292. Resolution was referred to the Hoard of Commi.ssion- A petition was presented from L. 0. Austin for two-hour parkin; on Vlest Eighth Street between 'rualnut Street and iron Avenue. Also on Iron Avenue between Eighth and Ninth Streets. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance regulating and limiting t7ie time of parking of vehicles on a part of certain streets in the City of Salina., and providing a penalty for the violation thereof." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners. City Engineer filed plans and specifications for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Number 273, 274 and 275. On motion of Commissioner Price same wereapproved by the Hoard of Commissioners. Carried. Commissioner Price moved that City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Number 272, 273, 274 and 275, to be received up to and including i;onday, �kpril 28, 1952 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Carried. An ordinarrre was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance levying special assessments against certain property to pay the cost of constructing water service pipes and sewer connections in certain streets in the City of aalina, LLI-Isas." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners. Petition presented from Parkview Realty and Buildin€ Company and rienry C. B Company, to include land west of the By Pass between Republic Avenue and Crawford Avenue within tl:e City limits. Also tentative plat filed.
