Meeting was �Y called to order by i:iayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Barcafer, Cobb, King and Price and City Attorney Clark responded. The minutes of the Regular 3eeting of Iviarch 31, 1952 were read and approved as read. Letter was presented from City Planning Commission recommending that Plat of Upper IGill ileightus be included within the City limits of Galina, Kansas. Commissioner King moved to table until City Manager can notify the property owners of the cost of water. Carried. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance creating and defining certain lateral sanitary sewer districts in the City of Salina, designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts Number 273, 274 and 275, and provid- ing for the construction of lateral sanitary sewers in said Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts Number 273, 274 and 275 so created, and providing for the payment of the cost thereof and for the levying of special assessments against the property in said districts for the payment of the cost of such construction and for the issuing of bonds to pay the cost thereof." On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, Cobb, King and Price (5) Nays: (0) I�iayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 5637• An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance rati- fying and confirming a contract with li. J.Taylor Construction Company for the con- struction of certain Lateral Sanitary Sewers in the City of Salina, heretofore desig- nated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts 269, 270 and 271, and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof, pending issuance and sale of bonds." On motion of Commissioner Cobb the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its finaladoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, Cobb, King and Price (5) Nays: (0) iayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 5638. On motion of Commissioner Price Estimate was approved by the Board of Commissioners. Carried. Mausoleum Deed for the sale of Crypt Number 536 to Mrs. E. G. Lundberg, was presented, and on motion of Commissioner King approved by the Hoard of Commissioners. Carried. Trust Deed, with a deposit of X75.00 was presented from Sara V. Andrews, for perpetual care of South 1/2 of Lot 19, Block 20 in the Gypsum Hill "emetery,5alina, Kansas. On motion of Commissioner Barcafer Trust Deed was approved by the Board of Commissioners. Carried. .lectric Vviring Bond was presented from Ray C. Johnson, d/b/a Country Club • Llectric. On motion of Commissioner Price approved by the Board of Commissioners. Carried. The following petitions were presented and referred to the City Manager: Curb and gutter Stack Street from Delaware, East to the alley.
