Meeting was called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Barcafer, ii.ng and Price and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioner Cobb absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 17, 1951 and Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals of Jeptember 10, 1951, were read and approved as read. City reported on control for type of buildings before land is platted. Up for discussion September 24, 1951. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the paving of Republic Avenue from the East line of Quincy Street to the East line of Sunrise Drive." On motion of Commissioner Price the resolution was approved as read and on its • final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: 4irrg, Barcafer, King and Price (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Cobb absent. mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 1251. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the paving of Sheridan Street from the South li..e of venango Street to the North line of Illinois Street." On motion of Commissioner Barcafer the resolut on was approved as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, King and Price (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Cobb absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 1252. The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 313 Resolution Book Number 4. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and grading of Martin Street from the center line of Sunrise Drive to the center line of Roach Street." An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance pro- hibiting parking of vehicles upon private property without the consent of the owner • or lessee of such property and prescribing a penalty for the violation thereof and for the removal of such vehicle." An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance pro- viding for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance No. 5549 and the Zoning District Map thereii and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof." On motion of Commissioner Barcafer the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its finaladoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, King and Price (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Cobb absent. An ordinance was introduced en�itled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoptopn the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, King and Price (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Cobb absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-559. Trust Deed, with a deposit of $75.00, was presented from Raymond E. Haggart, Executor of the Estate of Estella Nothstein, Deceased, for the perpetual care of the North 1/2 of Lot 7, Block 19, in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Kansas. Commissioner Price moved that same be approved by the Board of Commissioners and kayor authorized to sign Deed. kotion adopted. City Engineer filed Final Estimate in the amount of $30,836.79 to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, for curbing, guttering and paving improvements provided for in Ordinances Number 5504 and 5505, known as Engineer Job No. 268. On motion of Com- missioner Price approved by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted. Petition was presented from George J. Puyear for the rezoning of Lot 17, (200 Block on East Beloit) to "B" District. Petition referred to City Planning Commis- sion. On motion of Commissioner King the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
