COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING •
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JULY 16, 1951
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 16, 1951. Meeting was
called to order by kayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey,
Barcafer, Price and Assistant City Attorney Yordy responded. Commissioners Cobb
and King and City Attorney Clark absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 9, 1951 were read and approved
as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance
levying special assessments against certain property to pay the cost of constructing
certain water service pipes and sewer connections in certain streets in the City
of Galina, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was
had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer and Price (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Cobb and

King absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 5571.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was
had; Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer and Price (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Cobb
and King absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-551.
Trust Deed, with a deposit of 4100.00 was presented from Jason K. Yordy,
Executor of the Estate of Frances Kring, or perpetual care of Lot 41, HLock 19,
in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery . Approved by Commissioner Price. Carried.
Mausoleum Deed for the sale of Companion Crypt "B" Section #2 in the
Approved by
Hillcrest Memorial Mausoleum to Mrs. Mary E. Kastner was presented.
Commissioner Barcafer. Carried.
Supplement Petition filed by Salina Building Company, asking for
Light Industrial Districts for Tracts 11 2 and 3, which were petitioned to bring in
to Cit Limits. Referred to City Planning and Zoning Commission.
On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
