JULY 22 1951
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 2, 1951. Meeting was
called to order by Ivayor Ramsey, the roll wascalled and Commissioners Ramsey,
Barcafer, Cobb, King and Price and City Attorney Clark responded.
The minutes of the Reg lar keeting of June 25, 1951 and Called Meeting
of June 28, 1951 were read and approved as read.
City Engineer filed plans and specifications for Lateral Sanitary Sewer
Number 265. On motion of Commissioner Price approved by the Board of
Commissioners. Carried.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution
relating to the paving of Grand Avenue from the Vrest line of Tenth Street to the
"Nest line of Eleventh Street."
On motion of Commissioner Barcafer the resolution was adopted as read and

on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Ramsey, Barcafer, Cobb, Price and King (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolu-
tion and it is Numbered 1245.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 320 Resolution Book
Number 4.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner King the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its finaladoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, Cobb, King and Price (5) Nays: (0) taayor approved
the ordinance and it is Numbered A-549.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Price-Uie ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Ramsey, Barcafer, Cobb, King and Price (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is Numbered A-550.
No persons appeared to protest against the rezoning of Lots 9 and 10,
Block 13, Pacific Addition to "F" Light Industrial District; and
That Block 1, in the Re -Plat of Lots 1 to 15 Garden Home Addition be
rezoned to "D" Local Business.

An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: ordinance
providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 5549 and the Zoning District
dap and thereby adopted and providing forthe rezoning of certain property within
the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof." Ordinance was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
Viilson and Company, Engineers, filed Estimate Number 3 in the amount of
:;'13986.89 to Busboom and Rauh for Airport Building. On motion of Commis-
sioner ming approved by the Board of Commissoners. Carried.
Building Application Number 3156, for the erection of a building on the
Southeast corner of Salta re Avenue and South Street was presented from Arthur
Wilkens.
Commissioner King made motion to refer the above Building Application
Number 3156 to City Planning Commission and to advertise for hearing as Board of
Appeals for Monday, July 9th2 1951 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner trice the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
