SALINA, KANSAS
MARCH 9, 1951
Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners March 91 1951. Meeting
was called to order by Payor King, the roll was called and Commissioners Bing,
Price, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded.
Mayor King opened the subject to the re -opening of Smoky Hill Air Base,
and that some action on Rent Control as of tvarch 1, 1951 was necessary.
A resolution was introduced and passed recommending to the housing
expediter that he re -impose rent controls within the Cityof Salina, Kansas."
On :lotion of Commissioner Stephenson the resolution was adopted as
read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was
had; Ayes: King, Price, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb (5) Nays: (0) Mayor
approved the resolution and it is Numbered 1213.

On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
