Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Stephenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stephenson, Price, Ramsey and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioner King absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 19, 1951 were read and ap- proved as read. City Limit Ordinance held over until letter received from Salina Building Company. Junk Ordinance held over. • Petition was presented from Ed Pulec asking for the rezoning of part of Block 11, Leavenworth Addition to "C" Commercial. Referred to City Planning Commission. On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Price, King, Ramsey and Webb (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner King absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-529. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appro- priation for the payment of certain claims." An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance creating and defining certain lateral sanitary sewer districts in the City of Salina, Kansas, designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts Numbered 260 and 261, and providing for the construction of lateral sanitary sewers in said Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts numbered 260 and 261, so created and providing for the payment of the cost thereof and for the levying of special assessments against the property insaid districts for the payment of the cost of such construction and for the issuing of bonds to pay the cost thereof." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners. A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and grading of Sunrise Drive from the south line of Beloit Avenue to the south line of Ellsworth Avenue." Resolution was referred to the Board of Commissioners. A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and grading of Minneapolis Avenue from the east line of Qaincy Street to the east line of Norton Street."
