Regular ivueeting of the Board of Commissioners February 12, 1951. Ireeting
was called to order by mayor :sing, the roll was called and Commissioners Ki.:g, Price,
Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded.
The minutes of the Regular iueeting of February 53 1951 were read and approved
as read.
Commissioner Ramsey moved to accept Plans and Specifications for C A A
Building at Salina ''Municipal Airport, and that bids be received up to and including
Londay, L'larch 12th, 1951 at 7:30 o'clock 141. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced for third reading entitled: ;'An ordinance
prgviding for the amendment of Section Ten (10) of Ordinance No. 5237, as amended by
Ordinance No. 5448, and providing for the repeal of the original of said Section
Ten (10) as amended."
On motion of Commissioner ?rice the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: King, Price, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb (5) Nays: (0) lyayor approved the
ordinance and it is slumbered 5537.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance
relatinJ to and apportioning and levying special assessments on certain lots end
pieces of ground in the City of Salina, tiansas, to pay the cost of constructing
lateral sanitary sewers in Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts numbered 249, 250, 251,
252, 253 and 254 and relating to and providing for the collection and payment of such
assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final.doption the roll was called and the following vote was had:

nance and it is numbered 5538.
City Engineer filed Partial Estimate Number 4 in the amount of $5410.10
to H. J. Taylor Construction Company for the construction of curbing, guttering and
paving improvements provided for in Engineer Job Number 268. On motion of
Commissioner Price approved by the Board of Commissioners. Carried.
City Engineer filed Final Estimate in the amount of $1530.20 to H. J. Tay-
lor Construction Company for the construction of Heusner Storm Sewer, Engineer Job
Nunber 269. On motion of Commissioner Ramsey approved by the Board of Commission-
ers. Carried.
City Engineer filed Final Estimate for Heusner Storm Sewer, Engineer Job

on motion of Commissioner Ramsey approved by the Board of Commission-
ers. Carried.
Oil and Gas lirillers Bond presented from Jo-ldiar Dairies Company to replace
other bond which was cancelled. On motion of Commissioner btephenson approved
by the Board of Commissioners. Carried.
City Engineer filed Plat for Lateral Sanitary Sewer :dumber 255 as required
by Resolution Number 1209.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance con-
demning certain land within the city limits of the City of Salina for the use of
said city in the construction of maintenance and replacement of a certain lateral
sanitary sewer known as Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 255, and fixing a benefit dis-
trict therefor."
Letter was presented from Salina Building Company recommending that `tracts
1 and 2 (lying south of Walnut Street nd east of the By -Pass, at the west edge of
Salina, Kansas) be taken into City limits.
Commissioner Stephenson made motion to place ordinance on first reading,
and to ask petitioner to write letter of his intention for use of land and plat of
area. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Stefiheason the Hoard of Commissioners adjourned.
