Special Leeting of the Board of Commissioners January 24, 1951. Tweeting
was called to order by Mayor ring, the roll was called and Commissioners King,
Price, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded.

City i4lanager reported on applications for the office of Chief of
kayor King made the following statement:
At an unofficial meeting of the City Commission, sitting as a Committee
of the whole, I was authorized by the Commission to announce that the Commission
approves of "'Ir. Allison's recommendation and that they have instructed me to
authorize IUs. Allison to uroceed on the basis of his recommendation and if possible,
appoint Lr. Salman as Chief of Police of the City of Salina.
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
