SALINA, KANSAS.
Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners Janizary 3, 1951. Meeting
was called to order by %ayor King, the roll was called and Commissioners King,
Price and 4ebb and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioners Ramsey and
Stephenson absent.
City kanager reported on Civilian Defense. Commissioner Price
made motion that C.ty Lanager contact County Commissioners regarding City -County
Civilian Defense elan and formulate plans for same. Carried.
City i;!anager reported on petitions for curbing and gutter in Kraft-I;anor
Addition. Neld for future reference.
An ordinance was introdu:ed for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
prescribing the salaries of certain officers of the City of Salina and repealing
Sections 1-6j2 to 1-610, both inclusive, of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Salina, Kansas, 1)48.?' Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners. •
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Webb the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was tailed and the following vote was
had; Ayes: King, Price and Webb (3) Nays: (u) Commissioners Ramsey and
Stephenson absent. I,:ayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-519.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner trice the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was
had; Ayes: King, Price, Webb (3) days: (0) Commissioners Ramsey and Stephen-
son absent. Idayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-520.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-

absent. Liayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-521.

tions and on its finalLdoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: King, Price and Webb (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Ramsey and Stephenson
absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-522.
On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
