Meeting was called to order by Liayor King, The roll was called and Commissioners King, Price, Ramsey, btepheason and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded. The minutes of the Regular iieeting of November 20, 1950 were read and ap- proved as read. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the removal of certain lands in the City of Salina, Kansas, from the "D" Light Industrial District as that District is defined by Section 6 of Urdi nance Dumber 3188 and said ordinance as amended, and for the inclusion of said lands in the "E" Heavy Industrial District as that district is defined by Section 7 of Ordi- nance Number 3188 and providing for the proper uses thereof." On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sec- tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ki.ig, Price, Ramsey, Stephenson and 'Nebb (5) Aays: (0) Idayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 5522. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sec- tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: King, Price, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb (5) Nays: (0) hiayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-516. Sanitary Sewer in Kraft Lianor Addition. Ordinance first reading. Sanitary Sewer to serve Lots 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 Block 7, Sunrise Addition. Ordinance first reading. A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled: "A Resolution • relating to the paving and grading of Lincoln Street from the west line of Reynolds Street to the east line of Broadway Boulevard." Resolution was referred to the Board of Commissioners. A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the paving and grading of Johnstown Avenue from the east line of Penn Avenue to the west li.,e of Columbia Avenue." Resolution was referred to the Boara of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduces, for first reading entitled: "An ordinance creating and defining a certain lateral sanitary sewer district in the City of Salina, Kansas, designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer District Number 257 and providing for the construction of a lateral sanitary sewer in said lateral Sanitary Sewer District i4 -umber 257, so created, and providing for the payment of the cost thereof and fort he levying of special assess: ents against the property in said district for the payment of the cost of such construction and for the issuing of bonds to pay the cost thereof." Ordinance was referred to the hoard of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance creating, and defining certain lateral sanitary sewer districts in the City of Salina, Kansas, designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts Numbered 258 and 259, and providing for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers in said Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts numbered 258 and 259 so created and providing for the payment of the cost thereof and for the levying of special assessments against the property in said districts for the payment of the cost of such construction and for the issuing of bonds to pay the cost thereof." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commis- sioners. • An ordinance was introduced .Lor first reading entitled: "An ordinance creating and defining a certain Main Sewer District in the City of Salina, designated as Main Sewer District "Y"; providing for the construction of a Tviain Sewer in said district; providing for the payment of the cost thereof and for the levying of special assessments against the property in such district for the payment of such cost, and for the issuing of bonds therefor." I,�ausoleum Deed was presented for the sale of Crypts 13umbered 137 and 138 to ,rs. joe (Laura E.) Snyder. Commissioner Price moved that Deed be approved by the Board of Commissioners. Carried. Commissioner Webb moved that the City 14anager receive applications for the office of T:-arshal of City Court up until Wednesday noon (november 29th) after which time tr:e Commissioners will hold a Special l0eeting to appoint a Lar3hal of the City Court. Carried. On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk r
