Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners August 11, 1950. Tweeting
was called to order by Layor King, the roll was celled and Commissioners Price,
King, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded.
Pursuant to notice published in the Salina Journal, meeting was held for
hearing on Budget for the year 1951.
Budget was taken up and read.
No protests or persons present.
Commissioner Stephenson moved that 1951 Budget be approved as published.
Motionadopted.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes by the City of
Salina,ansas, for the year 1951." Ordinance was referred to the Board of
Coumissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
