Regular 1Leeting
of the Board of Commissioners January 2, 1950. Meeting
was called to order by Liayor Price, the roll was called and Commissioners Price,
Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb responded. Commissioner ging and City Attorney Clark
absent.
The minutes of
the Regular Meeting of December 19, 1949 and Regular Meeting
of December 21, 1949 were
read and approved as read.
Taxicab Drivers
Application 114'um1ber 1911 was presented from Charles L. Yonce,
and on motion of Commissioner
Stephenson approved by the Board of Commissioners.
Carried.
A petition was
presented from E. C. Franklin, et al., for the installation
of a street light at the
corner of Third Street and Antrim Street. Referred to
•
City manager.
A petition was
presented from John Lindeman to rezone to "B" Residential,

the North 88 feet of Lot
4, Block 1, Van 'Trine's Addition and East 6.4 feet of
North 88 feet of Lot 3, Block 13 Van 'fine's Add tion. Referred to City Planning
Commission.
A petition was
presented for the curbing and guttering of Wilson Street
from Front Street to Sunrise Drive. Referred to City Manager.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the ordinance was read and adopted
by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote
was had; Ayes: Price, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb (4) flays: (0) Commissioner
Ding absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A -464 -
