BE iT RLhIl bERED, That on Friday, INovember 18th, 1949, the Board of Commis-
sioners met as a Board of Canvassers (ex -officio) as provided by law to canvass the
vote cast at the Special School Bond Election of November 15, 1949.

For the Proposition 3105
Against the Proposition 1004
On motion of Commissioner King the report and findings of the Canvassing
Board were received and ordered spread upon the records, and the following Proposition:
"Shall the Board of Lducation of the City of Salina,
Kansas., issue its bonds in the amount of $875,000.00
for the purpose of providing additional funds for
building and furnishing the high school building and
for purchasing site or sites for and constructing
elementary school building or buildings and furnishing
the same and repairing existing elementary school
buildings,
carried by a vote of 3105 for the proposition and 1004 against the proposition.
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
