Residential District as that district is defined by Section 4 of Ordinance Number
3188 and providing for the proper use thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Price, King, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is Numbered 5432•
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution
relating to the curbing and guttering of Beloit Avenue from the west line of (4uincy
Street west approximately 300 feet."
On motion of Oommissioner Stephenson the resolution was adopted as read and
on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; ,eyes:
Price, King, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the
resolution and it is Numbered 1155•

On motion of Commissioner Stephenson appointments were confirmed by the Board
of Commissioners. Notion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;

ordinance and it is Numbered A-478.

Commissioner Stephenson moved to accept and that City Clerk be instructed to advertise
for bids to be received up to and including Monday, December 12, 1949 at 7:30 o'clock

Letter was presented from Chief of Police relating to Taxicab Drivers License
dumber 174 issued to John L. Whitney. Commissioner Stephenson moved that
License be revoked. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
