AUGUST 12, 1949
Special bleeting of the Board of Commissioners August 12, 1949. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Price, the roll was called and Commissioners Price,
King, Stephenson and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioner Ramsey
absent.
Pursuant to notice published in the Salina Journal, meeting was held for
hearing on Budget for the year 1950.
Budget was taken up and read.
Commissioner Stephenson moved that Budget be approved as published. Iuotion
adopted.
• An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes by the City of
Salina, Kansas for the year 1950." Ordinance was referred to the Board of
Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
