FEBRUARY 61 1950
Regular leeting of the Board of Commissioners February 6, 1950. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Price, the roll was called and Commissioners Price,
King, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb and City Attorney Clark responded.
The minutes of the Regular heeting of January 30, 1950 were read and
approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance
providing for the amendment of Sub -Division 1119" of Section 13-101 Revised Ordinances
of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, and providing ior the repeal of the original
of said subdivision."
On motion of Commissioner Webb the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: trice, King, Ramsey, Stephenson and Viebb (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved
• the ordinance and it is Numbered 5451•
tis a manner of policy, Commissioners approved that license provided for
in Ordinance Iuumber 5451 be paid on the half year basis.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner King the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Frice, King, Ramsey, Stephenson and Webb (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is Numbered A-487.

Gas Fitters Bond was presented from Good Housekeeper's Appliances, Inc.,
and on motion of Commissioner Ramsey approved by the Board of Commissioners. Mo-
tion adopted.
E'lectrician's Bond was presented from Good Housekeeper's Appliances, Inc.,
and on motion of Commissioner Stephenson approved b�. the Board of Commissioners.
I4otion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
creating and defining a certain lateral sanitary sewer district in the City of
Salina, Kansas, designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer District Number 248, and pro-
viding for the construction of a lateral sanitary sewer in said Lateral Sanitary
Sewer District Number 248, so created, and providing for the payment of the cost
thereof arid for the levying of special assessments against the property in said
district for the payment of the cost of such construction of and for the issuing of
bonds to pay the cost thereof." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commis-
sioners.
On *notion of Commissioner Ramsey the Board of GOMMissioners.adjourned.
