on Friday,
October 28, 1955,
the

Board of Commis-
sioners
of the City of Salina, Kansas, met
as a Board of Canvassers
hex -officio)
as provided
by law, to canvass the
vote cast at the Special
City
of Salina, Kansas,
Election,
held October 25, 1955.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor hawkes,
the
roll was called
and
Commissioners Hawkes, Exline,
Ramsey and Wenger responded.
Commissioner Lake
and
City Attorney Clark absent.
The returns of the Special Election were presented
by the City Clerk and
opened by the Acting Mayor in ti -.e
presence
of the Commissioners assembled, duly
canvassed and the results declared.
On motion of Commissioner Exline
the City Clerk was
instructed to spread
upon the Journal the result of
the canvass which is done as
follows:
