Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners May 28, 1954, Meeting was
called to order by kayor Wenger, the roll was, called and Commissioners Wenger, Cobb,
Cunningham, Lake and Wenger and City Attorney Clark responded.
Proposed Parking Lots discussed.
Commissioner Barcafer moved to buy all three proposed locations.
Baptist Church property 135 feet
Duncan property 90 feet
S. W. Bell Telephone property 10 feet
Jenney property 50 feet
Shaffer property 50 feet
Elks property 65 feet
Montgomery property 50 feet
All of the above named property is on Seventh Street between Walnut Street
and Ash Street.
Commissioner "arcafer moved to offer the Baptist Church 4p85,000.00, with
t4elve months possession. Carried.
Commissioner Lake moved that City Attorney beinstructed to proceed on legal
work for possession of proposed locations. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Barcafer the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
