Meeting was called to order by Mayor McCune, the roll was called and Commissiomrs McCune, Bull, Jaeger and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Exline absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 16th, 1959 were read and approved as read. Hearing was held on Petition for the rezoning of Lot 170 on Fifth Str eet, Original Town of Salina, Kansas . Approved by Commiss oner Ramsey. Commissioner Ramsey moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading. Ordinance passed: C' �� ;�y Number Hearing was held on Petition for Trailer Court on Lot 9, College Court. • Approved by Commissioner Ramsey. A Resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution relating to authorization of use of certain lots as a Trailer Court within the City, under Section 13, Ordinance Number 5549 - It On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: McCune, Bull, Jaeger and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Exline abs---ent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2177. A resolution was introduced and read entitled: "A Resolution authorizing and ordering certain street improvements, ordering preparation of plans and specifications, and the estimate of costs." On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption t e roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: McCune, Bull, Jaeger and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Exline absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2178. A resolution was introduced and read entitled: "A Resolution authorizing and ordering certain street, sew er and sidewalk improvements, ordering preparation of plans and specifications, aid the estimate of cost." On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: McCune, Bull, Jaeger and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Exline absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2179. • A resolution was introduced and passed entitled "A Resolution directing and ordering a public hearing on tre advisability of street, sew er and sidewalks improve- ments in certain districts and giving notice of such hearings ." Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2180. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance pro- viding for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 5549 and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof." On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinance was read and adopted by sec- tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; McCune, Bull, Jaeger and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Exline absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6345• An ordinance was introduced for s econd r eading entitled: "An ordinace levy- ing special assessments against certain property to pay the cost of constructing certain water service pipes and connections in certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas." Commissioner Ramsey moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading. Ordinance passed: i = : Number: Petition presented for the rezoning of the east 100 feet of Lots 5 and 6, except the south 75 feet thereof inBlock 4. Lamer's 2nd Sub -Division, Salina, Saline County, Kansas, from "A" to "B". On motion of Commissioner Bull, petition referred to City Planning Commission. Petition presented for the rezoning of Block between Eleventh and Twelfth Street s, facing Iron Avenue in Phillip's Second Addition from "B" to "C". On motion of Commissioner Bull, petition referred to City Planning Commission. Building permit application presented from Elmer Schmidtberger for the erec- tion of a building on Lot 16, Block 31 Riker Addition. (843 Martin) Commissioner Jaeger moved that City Clerk advertise for Hearing for June 30th, 1959 at four o'clock P. M. Building permit application presented from Wm.Keimold for permission to add to structure located on Lot 18 and the North 15 feet of Lot 17, Bishop's Addition.
