An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract with King Construction Company for the construc- tion of Channel Crossings- Phase II in the City of Salina, Kansas, heretofore desig- nated as Channel Crossings - II, and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof, pending the issuance and sale of bonds." On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: McCune, Bull, Exline, Jaeger and Ramsey (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6332. Meeting was called to order by Mayor McCune, the roll was called and Commissioars McCune, Bull, Exline, Jaeger and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 1959 and Zoning Board Meeting of May 19th, 1959 were read and approved as read. Commissioner Bull moved to accept and City Clerk publish Notice for Hearing. City Manager reported on Petition Number 2229 for vacation of alley between Lots 17 and 18 on Montrose Avenue. Recommended by City Manager, Commissioner Exline moved that ordinance be introduced %for first reading. Proposed plat of Jarvis Addition and petition for City limits, was received. Commissioner Bull moved to refer to City Planning Commission. Meeting was called to order by Mayor McCune, the roll was called and Commissioners McCune, Bull, Exline, Jaeger and Ramsey and City Attorney barta responded. Hearing was held on Appeal Notice filed by C.C.
