Meeting was called to order by Mayor McCune, the roll was called and Commissioners McCune, Exli ne, Bull, Jaeger and Ramsey and Acting City Attorney Bengtson responded. City Attorney Barta absent. On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following cote was had; Ayes: McCune, Bull, Exline, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6328. r� U A resolution was introduced and passed entitled : "A Resolution directing and ordering a public hearing on the advisability of street improvements in certain dis- tricts and giving notice of such hearing." On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: McCune, Bull, Exline, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2162. Commissioner Ramsey moved that City Limit Ordinance be introduced for first reading. Ordinance Passed: J Number City Engineer filed Plans andSpecifications for curbing, guttering and Asphalt Paving certain streets provided for in Engineer Job Number 387. Approved by Commissioner Ramsey and City Clerk advertise for bids to be received May 19th, 1959 at four o'clock P. M. City Engineer filed Plans and Specifications for curbing, guttering and Concrete Paving certain streets provided for in Engineer Job Number 390. Approved by Commissioner Exline and City Clerk advertise for bids to be received May 19th, 1959 at four o'clock P. M. Dedicatory Deed for a part of the North-west 1/4 of Section 142 South,Range 3 West of the 6th P. M. inSaline County, Kansas, was presented from Champlin Oil and Refining Company. Commissioner Exline moved to accept. Concrete Construction Bonds presented as follows: M.T. Damker. Approved by Commissioner Exlim . Western Concrete Inc., Approved by Commissioner Jaeger. The following petitions were presented: Curb, gutter, asphalt paving, water main and storm sewer for Holiday Street, in Holiday Addition to Salina, Kansas. Commissioner Jaeger moved to refer to City Manager. Rezoning Block 3, Schippel Addition to the City of Salina, Kansan from Zone "A" to Zone "C". Commissioner Ramsey moved to refer to City Planning Commission. Rezoning Block 4. Schippel Addition from Zone "A" to Zone "D". Commissioner Ramsey moved to refer to City Planning Commission. A resolution was introduced and passed entitled : "A Resolution authorizing and providing for. the issuance of Temporary Notes of the City of Salina,Kansas, in the sum of $38,122.72 to pay a portion of the cost of improving certain streets in the City of Salina tobe designated as Series PT -32 pending the issuance of bonds to pay the cost of s aid work."
