02-10-1959 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA$ KANSAS FEBRUARY 10, 1959 A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relat- ing to the resurfacing of Iron Avenue , Forty (40) feet wide from face of curb to face of curb, with hot mixed asphaltic concrete, from the west line of Delaware Avenue to the east line of Marymount Road." On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger, Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is Num��ered 2115. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relat- ing to the resurfacing of Santa Fe Avenue , Sixty (60) feet wide from face of curb to face of curb, with hot mixed asphaltic concrete,from the north line of Elm Street to the south line of Ash Street." On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger, Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance provid- ing for the condemnation of certain property for the purpose of providing necessary land and easements, permits and rights for the use of the City of Salina, Kansas, in the developing, constructing, maintaining and operation of a flood control system for said City of Salina, Kansas." On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger, Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Commissioner McCune moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading for the inclusion ofWorsley Addition within the City Limits of Salina, Kansas. The curbing, guttering and paving with 6" reinforced concrete, 26, wide, back to back, of Maple Avenue from the east line of Haskett to the west line of Hageman. The curbing, guttering and paving with 6" reinforced concrete, 331 wide, back to back of Garden Avenue from the east line of Haskett to the west line of Hageman.
