A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relat-
ing to the resurfacing of Iron Avenue , Forty (40) feet wide from face of curb to face
of curb, with hot mixed asphaltic concrete, from the west line of Delaware Avenue
to the east line of Marymount Road."
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger,
Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Num��ered 2115.

ing to the resurfacing of Santa Fe Avenue , Sixty (60) feet wide from face of curb to
face of curb, with hot mixed asphaltic concrete,from the north line of Elm Street to
the south line of Ash Street."
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger,
Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor ap-

An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance provid-
ing for the condemnation of certain property for the purpose of providing necessary
land and easements, permits and rights for the use of the City of Salina, Kansas, in
the developing, constructing, maintaining and operation of a flood control system for
said City of Salina, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Jaeger, Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6300.

On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption..the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:

approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6302.

On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections

approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6303.

ing for the vacation of North and South Alleys within the City of Salina, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Jaeger, Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance.and it is Numbered 6304.
Commissioner McCune moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading for the
inclusion ofWorsley Addition within the City Limits of Salina, Kansas.

Commissioner Exline moved that the City Engineer prepare a feasibility report on
the following improvements for permanent type paving of the following streets:
The curbing, guttering and paving with 611 reinforced concrete, 261 wide,
back to back, Willis Avenue from the east line of Haskett to the west line of
Hageman.
The curbing, guttering and paving with 6" reinforced concrete, 26, wide,
back to back, of Maple Avenue from the east line of Haskett to the west line of
Hageman.
The curbing, guttering and paving with 6" reinforced concrete, 331 wide,
back to back of Garden Avenue from the east line of Haskett to the west line of
Hageman.
The curbing, guttering and paving with 6" reinforced concrete, 33' wide,

the south line of Garden.

Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals, February 10th, 1959• Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Jaeger, the roll was called and Commissioners Jaeger, Exline, McCune
and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Wenger absent.
Hearing was held on Appeal Notice filed by D. C. Larson for non-compliance
with the area regulations, front set back and side yard requirements of Ordinance
• No. 5549,Section 11, for Lots 147, 119 and 151 on Fourth Street, Original Town of
Salina, Kansas.
No protests.
A resolution was introduced and passed relating to area regulations, front set
back and side yard requirements of Ordinance Number 5549 Section 11, for Lots 117, 149
and 151, on Fourth Street, Original Townsite, City of Salina, Kansas."
