Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 3, 1959• Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Jaeger, the roll was called and Commissioners Jaeger, McCune
and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioners Exline and Wenger absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 27th, 1959; and Meeting of
Board of Zoning Appeals of January 27th, 1959 were read and approved as read.
Flood Condemnation Ordinance for second reading.
Commissioner Ramsey moved to hold over until next week.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance provid-
ing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 55119 and the Zoning District Map
therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within
the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof." •
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Jaeger, McCune and Ramsey (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Exline and Wenger absent.
Mayor approve the ordinance and it is Numbered 6297.

Recommending that Petition Number 2112 for the rezoning of West 24 feet of Lot
4, Block 1, Beebe's 2nd Addition be rezoned from "C" to "Dit.
Approved by Commissioner Ramsey and City Clerk advertise for nearing.
Recommending Vat Petition Number 2143 for the rezoning of Lot 6, Block 3 of the
Replat
of Lots 1 to 15 inclusive, Garden Homes Addition from "All to "B't be approved.
Approved by Commissioner Ramsey and City Clerk advertise for Hearing.
Recommending that Petition Number 2087 for the rezoning of a parcel of ground
140' x
117' in the Southeast corner of Block 9, Riker Addition be approved.
Approved by Commissioner McCune and City Clerk advertise for Hearing.

Recommending that Petition Number 2140 for the rezoning of Lot 1, Block 6,
Kraft Manor Addition from "A" to "B" be approved, provided, however, that the south
60 feet of the lot not be rezoned.
Approved by Commissioner McCune and City Clerk advertise for Hearing.
Recommending that Petition Number 2132 for the rezoning of Lot 5, in Flat L,
of Lamer Sub -Division to "D" be approved, but that the set back request be denied.
Approved by Commissioner Ramsey and City Clerk advertise for Hearin g.

for the vacation of certain streets and alleys be vacated as requested.
Commissioner McCune moved to accept for all except Chester Street.
Commissioner McCune moved that ordinance be introduced for fist reading.

Recommending that Petition Number 2081 for the rezoning of Lots 17, 19 and 21
in Block 3, VanTrine's Addition be rezoned from "B" to "C"; and that the rezoning of
North 212 feet of Lot 20 and Lot 18, inBlock 3, VanTrine's Addition from "C" to "D"
be denied.
Approved by Commissioner McCune and City Clerk advertise.
Commissioner Ramsey moved that resolutions be introduced for first reading
for:
Resurfacing State Street from College Avenue to Broadway Boulevard.

Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals, February 3, 1959. Meeting was called to
order by Mayor Jaeger, the roll was called and Commissioners Jaeger, McCune and Ramsey
and City Attorney barta responded. Commissioners Ex ine and Wenger absent.
Application for Building Permit was presented from D. C. Larson, for the
erection of two buildings at 117-119-151 South Fourth Street, Salina, Kansas.
Commissioner McCune moved to approve for Hearing February 10th, 1959.
On motion of Commissioner McCune Board of Zoning Appeals adjourned.
