02-03-1959 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING COMMISSION?,RS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS FEBRUARY 3, 1959 Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 3, 1959• Meeting was called to order by Mayor Jaeger, the roll was called and Commissioners Jaeger, McCune and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioners Exline and Wenger absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 27th, 1959; and Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals of January 27th, 1959 were read and approved as read. Flood Condemnation Ordinance for second reading. Commissioner Ramsey moved to hold over until next week. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance provid- ing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 55119 and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof." • On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger, McCune and Ramsey (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Exline and Wenger absent. Mayor approve the ordinance and it is Numbered 6297. Ordinance passed: Number: C Recommending that Petition Number 2081 for the rezoning of Lots 17, 19 and 21 in Block 3, VanTrine's Addition be rezoned from "B" to "C"; and that the rezoning of North 212 feet of Lot 20 and Lot 18, inBlock 3, VanTrine's Addition from "C" to "D" be denied. Commissioner Ramsey moved that resolutions be introduced for first reading for: Resurfacing State Street from College Avenue to Broadway Boulevard.
