COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING •
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS
DECEMBER 23, 1958
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 23, 1958. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Jaeger, the roll was called and Commissioners Jaeger, Exline,
McCui:e, Ramsey and Wenger and City Attorney Barta responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 16th, 1958; Special Meeting of
December 16th, 1958 and Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals of .December 16th, 1958,
were read and approved as read.
Hearing was held for Trailer Court Notice in part of Talley Addition. (Paul
Adrian).
A resolution was introduced and passed relating to authorization of use of cer tin
lots as a Trailer Court, within the City, under Section 13, Ordinance Number 5549."
On motion of Commissioner McCune the resolution was adopted as read and on •
its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger,
Exline, McCune, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution and
it is Numbered 2107.
The following petitions were presented and on motion of Commissioner Wenger
referred to the City Planning Commission:
For the rezoning of Lot 5, Plat 1, Lamer's Subdivision.
For the rezoning of Lot 1, Block 8, Stack Addition.
Mausoleum Deed for the sale of Crypt Number 553 in the Hillcrest Mausoleum
was received from Winifred N. Haitbrink.
Deed approved by Commiss oner McCune.
The following applications for Cereal Malt Beverage License for the year
1959 were presented:
Mary Etta Wood, d/b/a "One Way Bar" 105 South Fifth Street.
Approved by Commissioner McCune subject to sanitation.
James Norman Martin d/b/a "One Spot Lounge" 739 North Eleventh.
Approved by Commissioner Wenger subject to sanitation.
Supplemental Agreement presented from Mrs. Gladys Zemler for certain space
located in the Administration Building at the Salina Municipal Airport, Salina, Kansas. •
Commissioner McCune moved to approve and authorize Mayor to sign.
Petition for rezoning of East 50 feet of South 60 feet of Lot 7, Plat "C"
City of Salina, Kansas from "C" to "D" was received.
On motion of Commissioner Wenger petition referred to City Planning Commission.
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
