Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 2nd, 1958. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Jaeger, the roll was called and Commissioners Jaeger, Exline,
McCune and..Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Wenger absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 25th, 1958 and Meeting of
Board of Zoning Appeals of November 25th, 1958 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for third reading entitled: "An ordinance of the
City of Salina., Kansas, granting Cable T. V. Systems, Inc., its successors, lessees and
assigns, for a term of Twenty (20) years, the right, authority, power and franchise to
establish, construct, acquire, maintain and operate a community Antennae and Closed -
Circuit Electronic system within the City of Salina, Kansas, to render, furnish and sell
community antennae and closed-circuit electronic service therefrom within the City of
Salina, Kansas and environs thereof, and to use and occupy the streets and other public
places of the City of Salina, Kansas,for such community antennae and closed-circuit
•
electronic system."
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Jaeger, Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioher Wenger absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6291.

A resolution was introduced and passed with the Kansas Power and Light Company
for the relocation of City of.Salina, Kansas, gas transmission pipe lines across the
DryCreek Diversion Channel south of Mentor, Kansas.
On motion of. Commissioner Exline the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger, Ex -
line, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2099.
Bids on radio equipment for Police Department.
Commissioner Exline moved to advertise for bids to be received not later than
eleven o'clock A. M., December 16th2 1958.
Appraisers Reports filed for Job 365 - Street Improvements.
Commissioner Exline moved to advertise for Hearing to be held December 16th,
1958 at four o'clock P. M.
An ordinance was.introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an appro-
priation for the payment of.ce rtain claims."
On motion of. Commissioner.Exline the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Jaeger, Exline, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordi-
nance and it is Numbered A-936. Commissioner Wenger absent.
An ordinance was introduced and..passed entitled: "An ordinance making an appro-

On motion of Commissioner McCune the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:

approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-937.
