On motion of Commissioner McCune the ordinance was read and adopted by sections

An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:"An ordinance of the
City of Salina, K ansas, granting. Cable T.. V. Systems, Inc., its successors, lessees,
and assigns, for a term of Twenty, (20) years, the right, authority, power and franchise
to establish, construct, acquire, maintain and operate a community antennae and closed-
circuit electronic system within the City of Salina,.ansas, to render, furnish and
sell community antennae and closed-circuit electronic service therefrom within the City
of Salina, Kansas., and envir ons thereof, and to use and occupjr the streets and other
public places of the _City of Salina, Kansas, for such community antennae and closed-

On motion of Commissioner McCune the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption.the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:

Commissioner Ramsey moved to hold, approve and refer to City Attorney.

The following letters presented from City Planning Commission:
Recommending that Petition Numbe- 2119 filed by George C.Etherinton for the
acceptance of certificate of plat for Shalimar Plaza Addition to the City of Salina,
Kansas, be approved.
Commissioner Ramsey moved to hold, approve and refer to City Attorney.
Recommending t at Petition Number 2120 filed by George C:. Etherington for the
rezoning of Lots l to 6 inclusive in Block 4, and Lots 1 to 4 inclusive in Block 5,
and Lots 1 to 6 inclusive in Block 6, all in Shalimar Plaza Addition to City of Salina,
Kansas from Zone "A" to Zone "B" be approved.
Commissioner Ramsey move to hold, approve and refer to City Attorney.

$26,113.71 to Jarvis. Construction.Company, for Iron Avenue Bridge.
Approved by Commissioner Wenger.
Gas Fitters Bond received from C. M. Hake, d/b/a C and C Appliance of Salina,
Kansas.
Approved by Commissioner McCune.
Mr. Ed Miller appeared, regarding.water going onto his property from Salina
Municipal Airport.
Commissioner Wenger.moved to refer.to Engineer for report.
Commissioner.Ramsey moved that City Engineer and City Attorney check on Soil
Cement Base Streets.
On motion of Commissioner Wenger.the Board of Commissioners adjourned.

Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals of November 25th, 1958. Meeting was
called to order.by Mayor Jaeger, the.roll was.called and Commissioners Jaeger, Exline,
McCune,Ramsey and Wenger and City Attorney Barta responded.
Hearing was held on. -Appeal of Francis J.Gorrell for non-compliance of Zoning
Ordinance for Lot 4., Block 1, Wellington's Addition, City of Salin a, Kansas.
(541 and 543 North Twelfth Street).
No protests.
A.:resolution was introduced and passe entitled: "A Resolution relating to
non -compliance -of Zoning Ordinance for Lot 4, Block 1, Wellington Addition to the
City of Salina, Kat sas .11
On motion of Commissioner McCune the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger,
Exlin e, McCune, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution
and it is Numbered 2097•
