The minutes.of.the Regular Meeting,.of October 7th,. 195.8 were read and.approved
as read.

Commissioner..Ramsey.moved to.accept, and City Clerk -advertise for bids to be

and Intercepting Sewer "AG".
A resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution authorizing
the acceptance of. first amendment to Grant Agreement, Contract No. C3ca-943A, re-
lating to the development of The Salina. Municipal Airport, Salina, Kansas ."
On motion of Commissioner McCune the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final.adoption.the. roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Jaeger,
Exli ne, McCune and Ramsey (u) Nays.: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2084.
Letter received from J. S. Dillon and Sons Stores Company, Inc., regarding
parking.lot.at.Iron Avenue and Front Street.
Commissioner Exline moved to allow a 35 -foot driveway.
On motion of.Commissioner. Ramsey a resolution was -introduced for first
reading..relatint_to the curbing,.guttering and paving Marymount Road from the
south.line of Lot 9, Block 2,.Country Club Addition to Sout line of Ruskin Road.

The following.petitions were presented and referred to the City Planning
Commission:
For rezoning Lots 26-2.8, Block 3, Riverside Park Addition from Zone "A"
to Zone "B".
For rezoning Lots 2 and 14, Block 13, E. M. I. Addition from Zone "B" to
Zone "C".
A petition was presented asking for amendment to Ordinance Number 6269 for
Regular sidewalks for Lot.16. and West 67 feet of.Lot 15,. Block 7, Riker Addition
(North side of McAdams from Lewis to Roach).

On motion of.Commissioner EXline., City.Clerk was instructed to advertise
for bids tote received up to and inclyding.Tuesday, October 28th, 1958 at four
o'clock --P. M. for the sale of the following _City tuf Salina., Kansas, General Im-
provement Bonds:

Series S-180 $221,7112.13
Commissioner -Ramsey made motion that City Clerk notify local property owners
who do.not sign petition for curb.type sidewalks. before ordinance is passed.
An ordinance.was.introduced.and passed.entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation.for_the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner McCune the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final _adoption the.roll was.called and the following vote was had;
Ayes:. Jaeger., Exline, McCune_ and Ramsey (11) Nays:: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-930.
