COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS
JANUARY 14, 1958
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 14, 1958. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline,
Jaeger, McCune and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Wenger
absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 7th, 1958 and Special Meeting
of January 7th, 1958 were read and approved as read.
Commissioner Ramsey moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading for
curb sidewalk on Guernsey Drive. /

The following letters received from City Planning and Zoning Commission:
Recommending that Petition Number 1952 filed by Paul B. Adrian, for the re-
zoning of certain lots in Talley Addition, as a Trailer Court be approved, subject to
certain conditions.

January 21, 195.
Recommending that Petition Number 1946 filed by Dean E.Woods for the rezoning
of Lot 6 and 4, 5, 7 and Lot 3, except South 100 feet thereof, Surveyor's Plat "G"
from Zone "B" to Zone "F" be approved.
Commissioner Ramsey moved to approve and City Clerk give thirty day notice.
Recommending that Petition Number 1947 filed by Robert L. Marietta for the
inclusion in the City limits of Salina, Kansas, Lot 1, Block 7; Lots 1, 2, 3, 45 5 and
6 in Block 4; Lots 1, 2 and 3 inBlock 3; and Lots 2, 3, 4 and 5 Block 21 Claremont
Heights, be approved.
Commissioner Ramsey moved to approve, for City Limit Ordinance for first
reading.

nexation of Schippel Addition to Salina, Kansas, tie approved.

for special assessments for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Numbered
361 and 362 and Country Club Intercepting Sewer.

Appraisers reports filed for curbing, guttering and/or paving certain streets
provided for Engineer Job Number 361.
Commissioner McCune set Hearing Date for January 28th, 1958 at four o'clock
P. M.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Exline, Jaeger, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger
absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-887.
On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
