Claremont Road to Marymount Road.

Greeley to Ruskin Road.
Application for recessed parking area for Lots 12 and 14, Block 7, Pacific
Addition (813 North Santa Fe Avenue) received from Vern Peatling.
Commissioner Wenger moved to approve subject to regulation of ordinance.
Application for Cereal Malt Beverage a License for the year 1958, presented
from Viola Grace Davidson, d/b/a "The Lounge" 201 South Santa Fe Avenue.
Approved by Commissioner McCune.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of ce tain claims."
On motion of Commissioner McCune the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Exline, McCune, Ramsey and Wenger (4) Nays: .(0) Commissioner Jaeger ab-
sent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-883.

Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 31, 1957• Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline,
McCune, Ramsey and Wenger and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Jaeger
absent.
The minutes of the Regula r Meeting of December 17th, 1957 were read and
approved as read.
Commissioner Ramsey moved that resolution be introduced for first reading
for the construction of sidewalk on west parking of Maple Street from Bachtold Street
to south line of Lot 30, Block 2, Cloud Addition, Salina, Kansas.

Petition received from Dean E. Woods for the rezoning of Lots 6, 4, 5, 7 and
3, except the South 100 feet thereof, Surveyor's Plat G, from Zone "B" to Zone "F".
Commissioner Wenger moved to refer to City Planning Co mmission.
Petition received from George C. Etherington for the inclusion in the City
limits of Salina, Kansas, Lot 1, Block 7; Lots 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 Block 4; Lots 1, 2, 3
Block 3 and Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, Block 2 „ all in Claremont Addition, Salina, Kansas.
The following petitions were received and referred to City Manager:
For water services and sanitary sewer to serve all of Block 1, Lot 1, Block 7;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Block 4; Lots 1, 2, 3 of Block 3; Lots 1,2,3,4,5 of Block
2 all in Claremont Heights Addition, Salina, Kansas.
