NOVEMBER 26, 1957
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners November 26, 1957. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Exline, the roll was; called and Commissioners Exline,
Jaeger, McCune, Ramsey and Wenger and City Attorney Barta responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 19th, 1957 were read and
approved as read.
Commissioner Wenger moved that Building Code Ordinance be introduced for
first reading.

Letter presented from City Planning Commission recommending approval of
the plat for an addition to Blocks 4 and 6 Southern View Additio n to the City of
• Salina, Kansas..
Commissioner Ramsey moved to accept and approve. Carried.
Letter presented from City Planning Commission recommending approval of
plat for Claremont Addition.
Commissioner Wenger moved to acceptand approve. Carried.
Proposed Gas Ordinance.
Agenda for December 3rd, 1957.
The following petitions w ere presented and on motion of Commissioner Wenger
referred to the City Planning Commission:
For rezoning of Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block 1; Lots 7, 8, 9,'10, 11, Block 2;
Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 Block 3, in Talley Addition, to "G" Heavy
Industry.
For rezoning Lots 1 and 2 Blockl; Lots 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 2 and Lots
13 2, 3, 43 5, 6, 7, 8, Block 3, Talley Addition to "D" Local Business.
Appraisers plats filed for Job 359, being Country Club Heights Inter -
cepting Sewer and Later al Sanitary Sewers Numbered 361 and 362.
Commissioner McCune moved to accept and set Hearing date for December 10,
1957 at four o'clock P. M. Carried.
A resolution was introduced and passed relating to the sale of Airport
Facilities at Salina Municipal Airport, owned by Ray Moore., to the City of Salina,
• Kansas.
Commissioner Wenger moved that resolution be adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Exline,
Jaeger , McCune, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution
and it is Numbered 1906.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled,: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of oertain claims."
On motion of Commissioner McCune the ordinance was read and adopted by sec -
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Exline, Jaeger, McCune, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is Numbered A-878.
On motion of Commissioner McCune the Board of Commissioners adjourned.

Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals, November 26, 1957. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Exline, the roll.was_called and Commissioners Exline, Jaeger,
McCune, Ramsey and Wenger and City Attorney Bata responded.
Building application presented from Fred Thun for addition to dwelling at
528 South Broadw ay.
Commissioner McCune moved to accept and City Clerk publish Notice for Hearing
December 3, 1957 at four o'clock P. M. Carried.
Building application presented from James L. Day for addition to building at
4320 East Jew ell Avenue.
Commissioner Wenger moved to accept and City Clerk publish Notice for Hearing
December 32 1957 at four o'clock P. M. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner McCune Board of Zoning Appeals adjourned.
