Commissioner Wenger absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 30th, 1957 were read and approved as read. City Limit Ordinance. Second reading. Held over onp moi p, week. City Attorney reported on the following Sidewalk Petitions: 1878 For concrete sidewalk on the North side of Jewell; West side of Ohio; South side of Ellsworth and East side of Lewis; all in Block 2,0 Claflir.'s Addition. 1879 For concrete sidewalk on the South side of Jewell; East side of Lewis; • North side of Kirwin and the west side of Ohio; all—in Block 2, Bailey Heights Addition. Commissioner Ramsey moved to approve for Resolutions. Carried. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance regulat- ing parking on portions of certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas, providing a penalty for the violation thereof and amending Section 2-4-1111 of Ordinance Number 5816 of said City." On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: E xli.ne, Jaeger, McCune and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6140. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance creat- ing and defining a certain lateral sanitary sewer district in the City of Salina, Kansas, designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer District Number 362 and providing for the construction of a lateral sanitary sewer ins aid Lateral Sanitary Sewer District Number 362, so created and providing for the payment of the cost thereof and for the levying of special assessments against the property in said district for the payment of the costof such construction and for the issuing of bonds to pay the cost thereof." On motion of Commissioner McCune the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final ddopt�on the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Exline, Jaeger, McCunet`and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent.
