Grosser, Jr. and Robert krede rick as appraisers for Main Sanitary Sewer "AD" and for Lateral Sanitary Sewers Numbered 354, 355, 356. Appointments approved by Commissioner Lake. Carried. Contract ordinance for the construction of Main Sanitary Sewer "AD" and for Lateral Sanitary Sewers Numbered 354, 355 and 356 introduced for first reading. Angwin, a partnership, doing business as The Salina Transit Company, a franchise for the operation of motor busses in the City of Salina, Kansas." On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hawkes, Exline, Lake and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6117. BRettle, for a term of four years from February 1, 1957, to succeed Herschel C. Logan, whose term expired February 1, 1957. -- Mrs. J. Martin Hall, for a term of four years from February 1, 1957, to succeed Irene Bjurstrom, whose term expired February 1, 1957. Herschel C. Logan for a term ending February 1, 1958, to fill vacancy created by the resignation of Jason K. Yordy. Appointments confirmed by Commissioner Exline. Carried. Band Trustee Howard B. Eagle, for a term of three years from January 1, 1957• Appointment confirmed by Commissioner Ramsey. Carried. Civil Defense Kenneth C. Stephenson, as City's representative, to fill vacancy created by the resignation of W. R. White. Appointment confirmed by Commissioner Exline. Carried.
