COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JANUARY 1, 1957
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 1, 1957. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Hawkes, the roll was called and Commissiore rs Hawkes, Exline,
Lake, Ramsey and Wenger and City Attorney Barta responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 18, 1956 were read and approved
as read.
Report of Commissioners filed on Case Number 21286, Flood Control Condemnation.
Commissioner Wenger moved to accept. Carried.
A resolution was introduced and passed relating to appraisers report for the
construction of the Salina Flood Control System.
On motion of Commissioner Lake the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hawkes,
Exline, Lake, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0)- Mayor approved the resolution and
it is Numbered 1780.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Pages 204 and 205, Resolution Book
Number 6.
A resolution was introduced and passed relating tothe condemnation of certain
land for construction of Salina Flood Control System.
On motion of Commissioner Wenger the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hawkes,
Exline, Lake, Ramsey and Wenger (5) Nays: (0) 1!ayor approved the resolution and
it is Numbered 1781.
The above resolution is copied in full on Pages Numbered 206 to .208 inclusive,
Resolution Book Number 6.
