Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hawkes, the roll was called and Commissioners Hawkes, Exline, Lake and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Wenger absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of Novemuer 6th, 1956 and Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals of November 6th, 1956 were read and approved as read. Ordinance passed / `'�'v� �c qj-�o Number Bond Ordinance for Series P-172 introduced for Hirst reading. / • Ordinance passedNumber City Engineer filed Plans and Specifications for Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 353 and for Pumping Station to pump sewage of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 353. Accepted by Commissioner Lake. Carried. Commissioner Lake moved that City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Numbered 351, 352 and 353 and for Pumping Station to pump the sewage of Lateral Sanitary Number 353; bids to be received up to and including Tuesday, November 20th, 1956, at four o'clock P. M. Carried. Anderson, Srack, Johnson and McClung, Architects, filed the following estimates for Fire Station Number 2, Salina, Kansas.: Estimate No. 1 to Engberg Electric Company $ 1,504.81 Estimate No. 1 to Gage Plbg. & Heating Company, Inc. $ 2,515.95 Estimate No. 2 to Jarvis Construction Company $10,467.00 Above estimates approved by Commissioner Ramsey. Carried. Commissioner Lake moved that City Clerk be authorized to adve tise for the sale of $375,000.00 Airport Bonds, to be received up to.and including November 27th, 1956 at four o'clock P. M. Carried. On motion of Commissioner Ramsey the Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk 1 1 0 PROCEEDINGS, BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS. NOVEMBER 13, 1956 Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals, November 13, 1956. ;Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hawkes, the roll was called and Commissioners Hawkes, Exline, Lake and Ramsey and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Wenger absent. Hearing was held on Appeal Notice filed by John D. Smutz, for permission to add to dwelling at 1415 Sunrise Drive. No protests. A resolution was introduced and read entitled: "A Resolution relating to the authorization of non-compliance with the Rear Yard Requirements on Section 6, Ordinance Number 5549 for Lot 13, Block 7, Sunrise Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas:." On motion of Commissioner Lake the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hawkes, Exline, Lake and Ramsey (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Wenger absent. Mayor Approved the resolution and it is Numbered 1770. The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 188 Resolution Book 6.
