August 19, 1963
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners August 19, 1963. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Spangler, the roll was called and Commissioners Spangler, Exline,
Rundquist and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioner Bull absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 5, 1963 were read and approved.
Letter was received from the City Planning Commission regarding petition number
2702 for the rezoning of Lots 18 & 20, Block 11 Pacific Addition from District "B" to
District "F"_
On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist the
recommendations were approved and the City Clerk was instructed to publish notice.
Carried.
Twenty day notice up on the rezoning of Lots 25, 26 & 27, Block 6 Circle Addition
from District "B" to District "D".
• I No protests written or oral were filed.
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the rezoning
ordinance was introduced for (first reading. Carried.
Ordinance Passed: _ '=LL --�- Number
Petition number 2705 was filed for the rezoning of North 200 feet of Reserve
Northeast of Riverside Drive, Riverview Addition to City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas.
On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Exline the petition
was referred to the City Planning Commission. Carried.
Petition number 2706 was filed for the rezoning of Lot 1, Block 1 Eisenhauer
Addition,
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the petition
was referred to the City Planning Commission. Carried.
City Engineer filed final estimate on Job 443 - Laterals 476-482-4831 On motion
of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the estimate was approved,
Cereal Malt Beverage Application was filed by Daryl D. Zongker d/b/a E & I
Tavern 122 W. Pacific. On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner
Rundquist the applk ation was approved. Carried.
Gas Fitters Bond was filed by Lloyd T. Walker. On motion of Commissioner Tucker,
seconded by Commissioner Exline the bond was approved. Carried.
• Cereal Malt Beverage Application was filed by Gaynelle Till d/b/a Peppermint
Lounge 136 N. Santa Fe. On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner
Rundquist the application was approved. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the ordinance
was adopted by Sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes:
Spangler, Exline, Rundquist and Tucker (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Bull absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-1184. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an
