Minutes of the February 10, 2011 meeting were approved as presented. The April 14 meeting was cancelled
due to a number of members being absent and no agenda.
New Business.
Luci Corley shared that on May 22 and 23, 2011 the Mexican Consulate was in town and about 400
immigrants were able to secure passports and get their paper work in order.
Chief Hill handed out Senate Bill 93 which is the new Biased Based Policing law which will become the
law on July 1, 2011. There was review of the new law and discussion about it.
Chief Hill also discussed the new law on synthetic cannabinoids. There was discussion about bath salts
and potpourri and the new problem with “triple c” cough syrups being used to get a high.
Complaints.
Lt. Gerry shared that there were no new complaints.
