02-12-1963 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING • COMMISSIONERS ROOM Salina, Kansas February 12, 1963 Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 12, 1963. Meeting was called to order by May6r Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline, Banker, Spangler and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioner Bull absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 5, 1963 were read and approved. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A resolution determining necessity of and directing that the owner or owners of certain lots construct, in compliance with plans and specifications of the City Engineer, a sidewalk, abutting said lots within 30 days of the adoption and publication hereof and providing that in the event the owner or owners fail to do so, that the City of Salina, shall proceed to construct or cause to be constructed said sidewalk and that the total cost thereof shall be assessed against such lot or lots on which such sidewalk shall abut as other special assessments." On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes: Exline, Banker, Spangler and Tucker (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Bull absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2691, Carried. Resolution introduced for 1st reading 2-5-63. • On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Spangler an ordinance was introduced for first read for Lateral Sanitary Sewer 482, Ordinance passed: V "�� Number Cereal Malt Beverage Application was filed by Rosemond Kay Hill d/b/a PJ's Lounge 201 S,Santa Fe. On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Banker the application was approved. Carried. Gas fitters bond was filed by Sears, Roebuck & Co. On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the bond was approved. Carried. Petition number 2663 was filed for a 20' wide driveway easement to Pt. Lot 1, Block 4 College View Addition, On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the petition was referred to the City Manager, Carried, Petition number 2663 was filed for a utility easement 10' wide in Block 12 Garden Home Addition. On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the petition was referred to the City Manager, Carried. On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the ground lease hangar at the Airport and K. W. Krutz wasapproved. Carried. On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Banker an ordinance was • introduced for first reading relating to/ persons making false police calls.
