REGULAR Meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 18, 1962. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline, Banker, Bull,
Spangler and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December ll, 1962 were read & approved.
AN ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for
the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 6613 and the Zoning District Map and thereby
adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing
the proper uses thereof."
No protests written or oral.
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Bull the ordinance was
approved by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes: Exline,
Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and it is
numbered 6683. Carried. Ordinance introduced for first reading December 11, 1962.
Petition number 2651 was filed for the protest & denial of Resolution Number 2677 -
North Ohio Street Improvements.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the petition was
referred to the City Manager. Carried.
Petition number 2652 was filed for the protest & denial of Resolution Number 2677 -
North Ohio Street Improvements.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the petition was
referred to the City Manager. Carried.
Petition number 2653 was filed for the protest of improvements on North Ohio Street.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the petition was
referred to the City Manager. Carried.
Petition number 2654 was filed for the protest of improvements on North Ohio Street.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the petition was
referred to the City Manager. Carried.
City Engineer filed final estimate on Arcade - J. S. Frank in the amount of $4,852.41.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the estimate was
approved. Carried.
Engineer filed estimate to Chicago Bridge & Iron in the amount of $48,753.00.
On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Bull the estimate was
approved. Carried.
Engineer filed estimate number 4 on Job 423 - Brown & Brown, in the amount of
$6,085.17.
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the estimate was
approved. Carried.
Combination Plumbers & gas fitters bond was filed by Eldon Silver d/b/a Silver Plumbing
& Heating.
On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Bull the bond was approved.
Carried.
Cereal Malt Beverage License Application was filed by Charles Roseberry d/b/a
Perppermint Lounge, 136 N. Santa Fe.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the license was
approved subject to the City Attorney's approval that he has a bonifide lease. Carried
Cereal Malt Beverage License Application was filed by Leonard Waldahl d/b/a Pizza
Palace, 226 S. Santa Fe.
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Bull the application was
approved. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker an ordinance was
introduced for first readin for vacation of a portion of Channel Road.

On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker a -resolution was
introduced for first readin authorizing sale of property.

An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: An ordinance making an appropriat
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion Bull, seconded by Commissioner Tucker the ordinance was approved by
sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes: Exline, Banker,
Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and it,is
numbered A-1148. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Banker the ordinance
was approved by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes:
Exline, Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance
and it is Numbered A-1149. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Bull the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
